  • They’re also concerned about the company’s work with the Israeli military, including a $1.2 billion cloud computing contract.

• Huawei develops new AI chip seeking to match Nvidia

  • China’s Huawei Technologies is preparing to test its newest and most powerful artificial intelligence processor.

  • Huawei has approached some Chinese tech companies about testing the technical feasibility of the new chip, called the Ascend 910D.

  • The new model appears more ‘anatomical,’ with less rounded shoulders and a joint structure resembling a biological one.

• Rice-sized robot could rewrite the neurosurgery playbook

  • Robeauté SA’s neurosurgical microrobot, a tethered, internally propelled system designed to reduce the trauma of accessing brain lesions.

  • “We’re building what we call a brain gardener, a microrobot that can prune, replant, stimulate growth,” said Joana Cartocci.
